    VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT

     

    Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may submit a request to vote an absentee ballot to their municipal clerk.  A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen who:

    • will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day.
    • has resided in the ward or municipality where they wish to vote for at least 28 consecutive days before the election.

    NOTICE: 
    Spring weight limit restrictions for Town of Lind roads will begin Monday, March 9, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. The Town of Lind follows Waupaca County Highway Departments guidelines and schedule for these weight limits.  All Town of Lind roads have the weight limit restriction, with the exception of Stecks Road.  The seasonal weight restriction will be 6 ton load for single axle vehicle and 10 ton load for a tandem axle vehicle.  These spring weight limits will be enforced pursuant to…

  • Lind Tree Cutting/Brush Trimming

    NOTICE: 
    With our weather turning nice the week of March 2nd, John's Lawn Care Service will beginning tree cutting/trimming for the Town of Lind.  There will be a potential for brief road closures while trees/limbs are dropped.  Signage will be placed appropriately. The main areas of focus will be: 

    • Nelsen Road just west of Pope Road
    • Lind Center Road between Nelsen Road and County EE
    • Airport Road between Bartel Road and Denmark Road
